For the entire race, Dennis was running up in the Top 5, at one point he got up to 3rd, posting some of the quickest laps. May

Fairgrounds Speedway - Nashville, TN - CARS/CRA/SSS Challenge 100 - Saturday, May 4th

Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports #42, Dennis had a great afternoon of practice on Friday, getting ready for Saturday's race. He was one of the Top 10 fastest cars. The weather on Saturday however was coming into play and Track Officials decided to do Group Qualifying during the only practice session that was scheduled before the race. Unfortunately, the rain came and the race had to be rescheduled for Sunday afternoon. Dennis also realized, after qualifying, that the car was having clutch issues and he was not able to make the race.

Wisconsin International Raceway (WIR) - Kaukauna, WI - Tundra Series, Season Opener - Saturday, May 11th

Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports #42, Dennis started 6th in the 28 car field, on the Legendary high-banked 1/2 mile Tri-Oval. With about 20 Laps to go in the race, Dennis took the lead. He held on to win his 57th Super Late Model Feature Event in his career.
26 Slinger, WI - Memorial Day Special

Slinger Speedway - Slinger, WI - Memorial 100

Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports #42, Dennis had one of the fastest cars out there. On Lap 46 he spun in turn four after some minor contact with another car. It was unclear as to who caused the incident, however, Dennis took the high road and tapped out, to allow the other car involved to keep position. By rule, after tapping out, Dennis was sent to the rear of the field. Dennis was making his way back to the front, but on lap 76 the right front tire blew going into turn three. As a result, Dennis skid into the wall. The car suffered some minor damage but Dennis was not able to finish the race.
31 Madison, WI - AFF Series #2

Madison International Speedway - Oregon, WI - Alive for 5, Race #2, Twin 50's

The DDP Motorsports Crew repaired the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup #42 after that blown tire incident a week earlier in Slinger, where Dennis ended up hitting the Turn #3 wall. However, Dennis struggled to dial the handling in at Madison. He finished 15th in the first 50 Lap Feature and 16th in the second one.

During the Feature, on Lap 48, Dennis tried to avoid cars that were checking up ahead of him, going out of turn two. He was able to avoid the other cars, but skidded into the wall. The #42 suffered too much damage and it was a DNF for Dennis.

After another Controlled (Caution) Pit Stop later in the race, the crew put on new tires, but Dennis was too far back in the field to make up any significant ground and finished 11th, running on the Lead Lap.
